Craig and I traveled to Atlanta for Apostle Ryan LeStrange’s Convocation 2025 with high expectation!

The crowd lined up early outside the doors and we were caught up in lively discussion right away. It felt like a family reunion. We bumped into attendees we met before and caught up on ministry news and life changes. The anticipation in the air was tangible.

The doors opened and everyone took their seats. The first thing Craig and I noted was the massive shift in atmosphere compared to P3 this time last year. There was a definite weight in the room. The speakers and leadership came serious. No hype and no fluff. Just apostles, prophets, pastors, and leaders who were ready to build. It was raw, focused, and 100 percent Kingdom.

We met leaders from all over the States and a network member, Pastor Bianca from Frankfurt, Germany. She and her husband, at great cost and through much warfare, flew all the way here to receive an impartation. That alone gives you an idea of the atmosphere in the room. Craig and I brought some of our own guests as well: Apostle James Fortune and his wife, Pastor Kanada of Oasis Church in Oklahoma City. We were also joined by Evangelists Caleb and Harmonee Wampler, based in Orlando, Florida. (This couple is responsible for over 2.3 million salvations, more than 400,000 in one night!)

We came expectant, and God didn’t disappoint.

Why It Felt Different

I’ve watched Apostle Ryan consistently teach against the rising celebrity culture in ministry. This time, I saw a tangible shift. I remember the first revival service I attended at ATL Hub. The desperation of the crowd to “get a seat” and be up front was almost smothering.

Although the Holy Spirit manifested powerfully in that meeting, I left with questions about the celebrity mindset among the attendees.

I know I’m not the first to recognize it, but Apostle Ryan did more than address it. He shifted it. Convocation 2025 was a no-frills, low-key gathering of leaders positioned by God.

Apostle Ryan began the convocation with a mentorship-style teaching. The rest of the sessions featured Apostle John Eckhardt, Bishop S.Y. Younger, and Pastor Amanda Crabb, a much slimmer speaker line-up than most events. It was perfect: impactful, cohesive, and each message completed what the previous speaker introduced.

The theme was profound yet simple: Shift, Consecrate yourself and host the Holy Spirit in the in-between seasons. We concluded with a clear 90-day charge to host His presence and watch for His impact in our lives through January 15, 2026.

Why We Attend

I’ve often been asked why I attend this particular event every year. The answer is simple: I am shifted.

Many promise, “You’ll leave different than when you came.” This is my third convocation with Apostle Ryan, and I can confirm that the proof is in what comes next.

In the final session of 2024, Craig and I received news that Nathan and Chaifa Berry were finally pregnant after nine years of infertility. That was the first of many massive shifts in our ministry for 2025.

Since this year’s convocation, the same grace has continued. The birth of Apostles Digest and our solid connection with Kingdom leaders have propelled us into a completely new season.

Why "From The Back Row"

This is where real change matters. It’s easy for those called to the front to give a testimony.

But when those of us in the back row quietly experience a mighty shift in our lives, that’s a true testimony. We’ve been in spaces where leaders advertise their miracles and post punchy reels to prove their power. But the real question is: do those in the back row see what you see? Do they experience what you post to social media?

So you can expect more pieces like this one. We want to tell you the truth: what it felt like in the room, how God moved on us, and the perspectives that come from the one. The one Jesus loves. The one He positions. The one who sits in the back row praying, “Jesus, let it be done unto me according to Your will.”

Quotes

“Whatever I’m attached to, I receive a flow from.” “It’s not revival if people show up. It’s revival if God shows up!” Isaiah 22:23 “I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place...”

Takeaway

You'll only experience this level of "shift" if you walk through those doors with a mindset for it. How many events have you attended and not received what you showed up for? While apostles and prophets can pour what they have, it's for those in attendance to have a vessel to catch that pour. So wherever you go next-attend ready for your shift! And then... write in and tell me how it went. I want to hear your encounter from the back row!
